Lost For Good – #OneHourSong

This #OneHourSong was done pretty different than the rest. This time I actually played piano and sang at the same time. Usually I track every instrument, but I felt the lyrics needed a live component in this recording.

I’ve been reading about productivity lately which lead me down the rabbit hole to researching how technology is damaging society from YouTube to smart phones. I battle with it, because as a musician this is one of the greatest ways to connect with people who want to hear your music, but at the same time I don’t want technology to take over my life. The lyrics warn of people and society that give in to the temptation of their technology and have a hard time looking back.
